About us

It concerns unemployed young people 18-29 who do not attend any other training or education program

The project «Young Entrepreneurs Succeed (YES!)» is a trust partnership involving 8 public & and private organizations from 6 EU countries with extensive experience promoting entrepreneurship among young people who do not have sufficient resources. Among the organizations are included: local development agencies, NGOs, universities and boards acting as implementing, expertise or dissemination partners. AN.KA S.A., will implement the project ΥΕΣ! In Greece. 

It is expected that 1.600 NEETs (young people who are not in education, employment or training) from Greece, Poland, Italy, Spain, will receive training, guidance, access to finance and guidance services to start and develop their own business.There are more than 6 million NEET people in the European Union.

The partners of  ΥΕΣ!,will cooperate by gathering data on the needs of the target groups and the existing gaps in the provision of services, the design and testing  of new financial and non-financial services for the sub-performing young entrepreneurs. Also, the will measure and share the social impact of the project.  Once evaluated, these new services will be ported worldwide through «Global Youth Business Network», which has members in more than 50 countries.   

A few words about the Funds, EEA (EEA) and Norway Grants

EEA (Norway) and Norway Grands funding, represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway in reducing economic and social inequalities and strengthening bilateral relations with 15 EU countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltic.    

For the period 2014-2021, the total contribution is 2,8 billion euro’s  (grants EEA (EEA)  1,5 billion euro’s and  1,3 billion euro’s  Norway Grands).

Under the EEA Agreement, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway are part of the European internal market. The EEA Agreement sets out the common goal of cooperation for the reduce of social and economic inequalities.

The Scaling trust-based partnership models to recharge youth entrepreneurship: Supporting underserved communities with innovative entrepreneurship support instruments (TPM-RYE) project, benefits from €2,3M grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. The aim of the programme is to activate unemployed youth to access the labour market and promote entrepreneurship.
