2ISECAP - Coordination meeting of project in Valladolid

On 4-5 May 2023, the coordination meeting of 2ISECAP project took place in the Postgraduate Studies Hall of the Architecture School of Valladolid in Spain.

The Municipality of Karditsa was represented by Mr. Nakas Ioannis (External Partner) and the Development Agency of Karditsa was represented by Mrs. Antoniou Agoritsa (PM 2ISECAP) and Mr. Sakellariou Evangelos (General Manager AN.KA S.A.).

On the first day of the meeting 04/05/2023, presentations were made by the group regarding the organizational structure of "Living Labs" from each partner, the actions and activities so far, as well as those planned until September 2023, in the framework of the participatory processes for the implementation of the Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans.

Mr. Nakas Yannis presented the current action of Municipality of Karditsa on the green transition, defining the objectives and the necessary mitigation actions, as presented through the Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECP) and the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP), which were submitted by the Municipality of Karditsa as early as 2021. 

Ms. Antoniou Agoritsa focused on the presentation of Living Labs that have been held currently in the city of Karditsa, in which the actions and plans that have been developed and implemented by local institutions and groups of Karditsa, were discussed, also the challenges of the revised National Plan for Energy and Climate (NECP) and the important role of local government were presented.

The progress of the 3rd "Living Lab" was presented as a focus group on Sustainable Urban Mobility, in which the measures promoted through the SDC were communicated to stakeholders in order to be discussed, evaluated and revised through the participatory engagement of them.

On the second day of the meeting 05/05/2023, during the project overview by Ms Giannouli Ioanna (2ISECAP Project Coordinator), the guidelines for the next steps of implementation were given, while good practices were presented by transnational partners, in order to help the energy transition of every country.
